She has been working as a GP since 2006 and She was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010.
She relocated to Adelaide in 2011 with her husband and children.
Since this time, she has fostered her passion for working within geriatric medicine, specifically focussing on those living in Residential Aged Care.
She has worked closely with the staff at Eldercare Cottage Grove in Woodcroft since 2012. During which time she has provided general medical care to over 300 patients at the facility.
In addition, she is the medical advisor for the Medication Advisory Committee which meets quarterly to discuss medication management at the facility.
Her work there includes care for patients with multiple and complex healthcare needs such as:
