To help to facilitate this, Dr Hodgkinson often dedicates specific visiting times to the care home to ensure continuity for staff and to deliver detailed, extensive and appropriate care.

She is also usually available outside of these times if the matter is urgent or critical. She is readily accessible via telephone to give advice to nursing staff if she is not able to visit immediately.
